Teacher Of Social Studies – Middle School
Leave Replacement | September 14 – November 1, 2026
Verona Public Schools is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Middle School Social Studies Teacher for a short-term leave replacement position.
Qualifications:
- Appropriate New Jersey teaching certification (CEAS/CE in Social Studies 2300, or a combination of Elementary School teacher 1001 and Middle School with Subject Matter Specialization Grades 5-8 Social Studies) required
- Strong knowledge of middle school Social Studies curriculum and instruction
- Ability to create an engaging, supportive, and student-centered learning environment
