We are supporting a leading global energy services provider in the search for an experienced MPD Field Engineer (Choke Operator) for an upcoming drilling campaign in the Middle East. This is a hands‑on operational role suited to professionals with strong managed pressure drilling (MPD) experience, particularly in complex well conditions involving total losses (PMCD). The position requires a high level of technical competence and the ability to perform in demanding, high‑temperature environments.

• Operate and monitor MPD choke systems during drilling operations
• Support drilling teams in managing wellbore pressure and mitigating risks
• Execute MPD procedures in total loss / PMCD environments
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of MPD equipment on site
• Collaborate with drilling and wellsite teams to optimise performance
• Maintain accurate operational reporting and documentation

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in MPD / drilling operations
• Proven experience with total losses / PMCD drilling techniques
• Strong operational experience as an MPD Choke Operator / Field Engineer
• Ability to work effectively in high-temperature / harsh environments

• Broader experience across drilling and well control operations
• Familiarity with industry-standard MPD systems and equipment
