We are supporting a major operator project in the Middle East and are seeking an experienced MPD Advisor to work directly within the client’s organisation. This is a senior‑level advisory role requiring extensive Managed Pressure Drilling experience, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to provide strategic operational guidance.
Role PurposeThe MPD Advisor will act as the primary technical focal point for Managed Pressure Drilling activities, supporting the client through operational planning, technical reviews, risk management, and relationship development. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial and stakeholder management capability.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary MPD advisor within the client’s office
- Provide technical support and guidance on MPD operations
- Support drilling planning, execution, and operational reviews
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders
- Advise on operational performance, risk management, and best practices
- Coordinate with operator and service company teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned processes
- Represent the service company professionally within the client organisation

Minimum Requirements- Minimum 15 years of experience in MPD operations
- Extensive Managed Pressure Drilling technical background
- Previous experience working directly within client offices
- Previous MPD experience
- Strong understanding of drilling operations, pressure management, and well control
- Experience supporting major operators in advisory roles
- Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships
- Experience influencing operational strategy and performance
