MPD Engineer​/Choke Operator

Performance Energy is recruiting experienced MPD Engineers / Choke Operators to support offshore deepwater exploration projects across the Middle East and Asia. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) experience who can safely operate MPD equipment and support complex offshore drilling campaigns.

As an MPD Engineer / Choke Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring MPD choke systems while supporting safe and efficient offshore drilling operations. Working alongside drilling and MPD teams, you will ensure equipment performance, well control and operational compliance throughout each campaign.

• Monitor and control well pressures throughout drilling activities.
• Support the installation, testing and operation of MPD equipment.
• Ensure all operations comply with HSE procedures and client standards.
• Work closely with drilling crews and offshore personnel to optimise performance.
• Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues.
• Complete operational reports and technical documentation.
• Maintain equipment readiness throughout mobilisation, execution and demobilisation.

• Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations.

This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting offshore exploration projects across the Middle East and Asia. Candidates should be available to travel internationally and work a 4/4 rotation.

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the oil & gas industry.
• Proven experience as an MPD Engineer or MPD Choke Operator.
• Strong understanding of MPD systems, equipment and well control operations.
• Excellent technical problem-solving and communication skills.

• Previous experience supporting international offshore drilling campaigns.
• Experience working with major global oilfield service companies.
• Experience supporting offshore exploration projects.

• Valid BOSIET.
• Valid IWCF certification.
• Valid offshore medical.
• All offshore certifications must be current and in date.
