PIXCEL () develops novel semiconductor-based photonic modules aimed at sensing and imaging applications.
What you'll do- Build optoelectronic test setups
- Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and reworking of PCBAs
- Characterize optical device
- Collect module performance and reliability data
- Assist in failure analysis activities
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary start-up team, including optical, electrical, mechanical, and software engineers. You will work closely with PIXCEL’s silicon photonics development leads. The position is on-site in Matawan, NJ.

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent with 2+ years industry experience
- Prior experience with optoelectronic testing
- Prior experience with electronics assembly, soldering, and debugging
- Ability to work with small-scale devices in a lab setting
- Knowledge of fiber optics and related test equipment
- Ability to code in Python and/or C# for lab automation is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
