We are seeking an experienced Environmental Land-Use Permitting Specialist to join our team in either Wall Township or Warren, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in environmental land-use permitting, with a strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities- Manage the environmental land-use permitting process for various projects, including wetlands, stormwater, air quality, and land use permits.
- Conduct thorough research on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process.
- Prepare and submit permit applications, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory compliance documents.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on environmental land-use permitting matters.
- Monitor permit conditions and deadlines and ensure timely renewal and compliance reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in environmental permitting, preferably in the Wall or Warren, NJ area.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with GIS software and environmental modeling tools is a plus.
- Frequent travel and/or field work to our clients’ sites. (Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required)
