In the role of Senior Engineering Project Manager – Structures, we’ll count on you to:

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
• Take responsibility for all aspects of large multi-discipline projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
• Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
• Coordinate staffing and workload throughout the entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
• Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with the team to ensure that work is completed within the parameters of an agreed‑to budget and schedule
• Work with Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
• Implement QA/QC procedures
• Supervise large project staffs and act as a mentor for less‑experienced Project Managers
• Perform other duties as needed

• PMP certification
• Experience with agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA
• Preference is given to local candidates
• Prior experience with an A/E/C firm

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10 years related experience
• At least 5 years of project management experience
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., PE or P.Eng)
• MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be a plus)
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
• Active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
