Overview
GFT is seeking Construction Inspectors to join our team for upcoming projects in the New Jersey area. This role involves important construction efforts for large-scale roadway and bridge transportation projects in New Jersey.

Responsibilities- Must perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner and adhere to Gannett Fleming Quality Management Protocols (QMP)
- Complete daily inspection reports
- Represent the client and Gannett Fleming interests in a professional manner and appearance
- Report to and take directions from the Resident Engineer
- Education:
BS - Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferred - ICC/NICET II, III, or IV Highway Construction
- 4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experience
- OSHA 30-hour
- Divers license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Work schedule must be flexible to accommodate varying shifts (day, evening, weekend) and ability to stay late or come in early as needed
- What you bring to our firm:
- 4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experience
- Driver's license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom
- OSHA 30-hour
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
- High School Diploma is acceptable; BS - Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferred
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
