Construction Inspector - Bridge, Tunnel, Aeronautical

GFT is seeking Construction Inspectors to join our team for upcoming projects in the New Jersey area. This role involves important construction efforts for large-scale roadway and bridge transportation projects in New Jersey.

• Must perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner and adhere to Gannett Fleming Quality Management Protocols (QMP)
• Complete daily inspection reports
• Represent the client and Gannett Fleming interests in a professional manner and appearance
• Report to and take directions from the Resident Engineer

• Education:
  
  BS - Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferred
• ICC/NICET II, III, or IV Highway Construction
• 4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experience
• OSHA 30-hour
• Divers license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
• Work schedule must be flexible to accommodate varying shifts (day, evening, weekend) and ability to stay late or come in early as needed

• What you bring to our firm:
• 4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experience
• Driver's license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom
• OSHA 30-hour
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
• High School Diploma is acceptable; BS - Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferred

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
