Electrical Engineer

• Design electrical elements such as overall circuit, power management, sensors and actuators, and communication functions between internal modules (I2C, SPI, etc.) and external interfaces (Ethernet, SNMP, wireless cellular, etc.). This includes engineering research, experimentation, simulation, and achieving certification for necessary regulations and industrial standards.
• Develop production processes by creating fixtures and equipment to meet desired goals, through hands‑on experimentation, and considering safety, durability, mass‑production environment, and total target cost.
• Manage projects by working closely with customers or the sales team to align products with business goals; planning and coordinating with internal and external teams, factories, suppliers, and test labs to meet quality, cost, and timing targets.
• Support the Engineering Department by assisting teammates, performing routine or maintenance tasks, handling unexpected situations, adhering to company policies and safety regulations, and completing miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Hands‑on experimentation to obtain objective data and make evidence‑based decisions, considering product application, safety, environmental reliability, manufacturability, user satisfaction, and total cost.
• Prioritizing company interests over personal style when conflicts arise.
• Frequent communication and confirmation with supervisors and teammates.
• Scientific data analysis and documentation of findings.
• Continuous learning of new knowledge, hardware, and software tools; keeping up with updated industry standards and certifications; understanding fiber‑optic communication basics and trends.

Essential Educational/Experience Requirements: Four‑year college (B.S.) or equivalent.

Essential Skills/Traits: Knowledge of engineering, spreadsheet, word‑processing, and drafting software; ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; strong math, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to write routine reports and correspond; effective public speaking; capability to work in a multinational organization with diverse cultures.

• Stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, manipulate tools, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, occasionally climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Handle chemicals including acetone, epoxy, ethanol, IPA, slurry, oxide powder; immediately report allergies or reactions to supervisor.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Visual requirements: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.

10% - 20% travel.
