Mechanical Engineer/Designer - Edison, NJ

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with a flair for designing HVAC systems and a passion for working on diverse projects? We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer/Designer to join our team in Philadelphia and contribute to exciting residential, commercial, and industrial building projects!

Location: Edison, NJ

Salary: $70,000.00 - $ per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Work Environment: In-person

About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for preparing permit and construction drawings for mechanical systems. You will collaborate directly with General Contractors, Architects, Utility Companies, and City Licensing and Inspection Departments to deliver high-quality finished drawings. Your technical expertise will also support our customers and field personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare permit and construction drawings for mechanical systems, including heating/cooling load calculations, HVAC equipment specifications, and duct layout design.
• Work closely with General Contractors, Architects, Utility Companies, and City Licensing and Inspection Departments to produce detailed drawings.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and field personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Experience with AUTOCAD (required).
• Masters degree and experience with AUTOCAD Revit are preferred.
