Job Position: Sr. Network Engineer

Job Location: Newark, NJ (Onsite)

Job Duration: 7 Months

• Does the candidate agree to split their time between being on site in Newark, NJ and performing field work? (NOT Hybrid)
• Requires fieldwork at transportation facilities, remote sites, data centers, rail stations, bus garages and outdoor locations.
• Locations to be provided as it will be dependent upon where the work is needed. Candidate can expect 1-2 days per week in office at 2 Gateway, Newark NJ and remainder of days per week at one of the sites. Candidate will not work from home.
• May require after-hours support for emergency wireless/cellular outages and maintenance activities.
• CradlePoint Modem Device Configuration Skills Required 4 Years
• Applied experience in the telecommunications field, including voice and data. Required 4 Years
• Experience to include working in a major PBX and/or network environment with extensive client interaction in the implementation/support of data Required 4 Years
• Experience with wireless cellular technologies including LTE, 5G, DAS, cellular gateways. Required 4 Years
• Knowledge of wireless network architecture, RF fundamentals, carrier connectivity & mobile communications infrastructure Required 4 Years
• Experience with Cisco, Cradlepoint, Sierra Wireless, Digi, Aruba or similar wireless networking platforms Required 4 Years
