Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to support engineering, manufacturing, and equipment-related activities within pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environments. This role will assist with equipment installation, maintenance, process improvements, validation support, and troubleshooting activities while ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering documentation, along with a strong willingness to learn and work in regulated environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience (internship or co-op experience preferred).
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing equipment, and engineering principles.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or project experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to GMP/FDA regulated environments.
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Creo, or similar).
• Knowledge of HVAC, utilities, piping systems, or manufacturing equipment.
• Understanding of validation and qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
