Our client, a leading firm in civil engineering and municipal infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer. You will be part of the Municipal Engineering Department supporting municipal projects and community development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to project management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
Up to 220K

What's the Job?

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of municipal projects including subdivision reviews, roadway rehabilitation, stormwater management, and capital improvement programs.
• Serve as Municipal Engineer and/or Board Engineer, attending meetings and overseeing site plan reviews and land-use applications.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans with minimal supervision to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and ongoing collaboration.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, especially in municipal infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in project management, client relations, and team leadership.
• Deep knowledge of roadway design, stormwater systems, hydraulics, hydrology, utilities, and land development processes.
