We are seeking an experienced Component Packaging Engineer to join a leading consumer products organization. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in OTC, Cosmetics, or Lotion Packaging who are passionate about packaging innovation, product development, and manufacturing excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Sciences, Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with OTC, Cosmetics, or Lotion Packaging (consumer products experience is required; candidates with only heavy pharmaceutical packaging experience will not be considered)
  • Experience writing protocols, technical documentation, and packaging development reports
  • Strong knowledge of packaging components and package development processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • GMP experience
  • Technical knowledge of packaging materials, packaging equipment, package testing, validation, and package development

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and production scale-up of new packaging solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Process Excellence to drive successful package development projects
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including Package Component Specifications, Packaging Line Trial Protocols and Reports, Package Development Reports, and Assessment & Planning documents
  • Conduct packaging risk assessments, develop test plans, analyze test results, and support lifecycle management initiatives
  • Identify innovative packaging solutions while ensuring product quality, manufacturability, and compliance with company standards
