Engineering Manager (Wastewater - PE Required) - Ocean County Utilities Authority
OCUA a regional wastewater utility serving Ocean County through three treatment plants and 40 pumping stations, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and capital improvement program. This leadership role is ideal for a people-focused manager with deep wastewater engineering expertise and a New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license. You will mentor and develop engineering staff while overseeing the planning, design, permitting, funding, and construction of critical wastewater collection, conveyance, treatment, and residuals management projects.
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a NJ PE license, and at least 10 years of relevant water/wastewater experience, including leadership and project management responsibilities. Full-time Salary DOQ: $120,000–$150,000, plus outstanding benefits, PERS pension, generous PTO, and potential Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
