Water Treatment & Desalination Specialist

Drive the design and implementation of sustainable water treatment and desalination projects. You will lead technical efforts to deliver clean water solutions using reverse osmosis, thermal desalination, and advanced wastewater recycling technologies.

• Lead the design and engineering of seawater and brackish water desalination plants
• Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and technical specifications for water treatment systems
• Oversee pilot testing, commissioning, and performance optimization of treatment facilities
• Evaluate and implement membrane technologies, chemical treatment processes, and energy recovery systems
• Collaborate with environmental consultants to ensure compliance with discharge and quality regulations
• Manage vendor relationships for equipment procurement and system integration
• Contribute to R&D initiatives focused on reducing the energy footprint of desalination

• 10+ years of experience in water treatment and desalination engineering
• Expertise in reverse osmosis (RO), multi-stage flash (MSF), and MED technologies
• Strong knowledge of water quality standards (WHO, EPA, local regulations)
• Experience with SCADA systems and process automation in water treatment plants
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Experience working in MENA region is highly preferred
• Strong project management and communication skills
