Environmental Project Assessor

Responsibilities

• Lead the direction, completion, and outcome of building assessment projects.
• Conduct client‑facing on‑site assessments and prepare written reports.
• Own communication with local Building, Zoning, and/or Fire Departments.
• Travel to client project sites across the U.S. (~50% of the workweek).
• Conduct interviews with property owners, tenants, and service providers.
• Prepare detailed written reports that accurately describe onsite findings.

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four‑year college or university in a related field.
• Minimum of three years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license required with no significant MVA points or violations (clean driving record).
• Current AHERA, Asbestos Inspector Certification, or OSHA‑40‑hour certification preferred.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
• Proficiency in operating a computer and various software including Microsoft Suite and business‑specific applications.

Demonstrates expertise in conducting client‑facing assessments and preparing detailed reports, while effectively communicating with local regulatory departments. Holds relevant certifications and possesses strong report writing and computer proficiency skills.
