Overview
Our client is a leading global Consultancy renowned for delivering high-profile, complex, iconic, large-scale capital projects. We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Field Inspector for the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). This is an opportunity to contribute to a landmark project that will deliver transformative impacts across economic, transportation, and environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities- Perform field audits of environmental documentation and field activities
- Review and prepare written technical reports documenting environmental construction compliance
- Report inconsistencies, environmental permitting requirements and contract specifications to the environmental compliance team
- Provide oversight of construction as it relates to environmental compliance
- Ability to interpret scientific data and specifications
- Deliver commercial revenue targets aligned to the project/programme plan, translating project objectives into deliverable strategies
- Support work winning through bid support, innovation, client liaison, upskilling of colleagues, and external profile-raising of Mace services
- Provide technical expertise and promote innovation in sustainability areas such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, and sustainable buildings
- Represent the company and clients in public forums, attending internal and external events to raise the profile of Mace and the practice group
- Bachelors degree in environmental science, geology or a closely related discipline
- 8+ years of prior experience performing construction site inspections
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Prior experience providing environmental inspections in and for NY, NJ and/or NYC agencies (desirable)
Estimated starting salary: $150,000
. Salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
