In this role the CADD Specialist will be responsible for production drawings and as-builts utilizing sketches, diagrams, drawings, and plans. Examples of duties performed include interpreting, compiling, and processing technical engineering data and preparing special reports as requested; researching, assembling, and reviewing road, bridge, and structural data. This position is preferably New Jersey based.

- Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs for preliminary and final plan sets using Micro Station and Project Wise.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure coordinated designs.
- Apply standard drafting/design principles and theories to complete assignments.
- Use technical manuals to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA).
- Understand engineering, architectural documentation and construction, including infrastructure.
- Required:
- Bridge/Structural design experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Micro Station (desired minimum of 3-5 years).
- Experience with engineering, architectural, and construction documents (i.e., maps, drawings, technical specifications, etc.).
- Self-directed with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and communicate status and progress effectively.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential documents and information.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Effective communication, organizational and time management skills. Attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and detail oriented.
- Preferred:
- New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) project experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Transportation Agencies.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree desired.
- Demonstrated GIS (Geographic Information System) experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Open Roads, Open Bridge, Project Wise, and Bluebeam Revu.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Annual Paid Time Off:
- Sick Leave: 5 Days (40 Hours)
- Vacation: 15 Days (120 Hours)
- Holidays: 11 Federal Holidays (88 Hours) observed in accordance with mcfa's Holiday Schedule
- Following your first full quarter worked, you will qualify for a profit-share bonus that is distributed at the end of each quarter if company targets are hit.
- Incoming Growth Units: 10
- Growth Unit allotment may increase over time.
