The DNV Technology Centres in Bergen and Oslo has a combination of strong technical experts within materials technology and structural integrity. We combine our technical expertise with state of the art test facilities to provide value for our customers. We focus on qualifying new solutions needed for the energy transition. We work closely with all parts of DNV and play an important role in developing codes and standards.
Our main fields of activity are related to material, corrosion and structural performance of large critical assets.
We are now looking for a student that want to work with us next summer!
- You will help qualify new technologies needed for the energy transition
- You will be cooperating with customers from leading companies in their industries
- You will be working closely with our laboratories in Bergen and Høvik
- You will be able to apply and develop skills you have obtained as a student

- Our Høvik office is located in beautiful surroundings by the sea and can offer access to sailboats, kayaks, tennis courts etc. We have more than 30 activity groups for you to join, as well as gym facilities and a kindergarten located on our premises. It is also worth noting that we offer free parking and shuttle buses to and from Skøyen, Lysaker and Sandvika.

About You Who are we looking for?- Highly motivated graduates primarily from materials technology or mechanical engineering studies with an ambition to work in a consulting role.
- A pro-active attitude to engage with other to find good solutions.
- Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of Norwegian is a preference.
- Technical interest within materials technology, corrosion or mechanical engineering.
- Interest in laboratory work and testing.
- Good digital skills (data processing, FEA, CAD, controller programming) is an advantage.
