DC Administrator - Pension - Hybrid

Position: DC Administrator - Pension - Hybrid - 10470
Description

Our client is looking for a Defined Contribution Administrator to join growing team. The analyst will work on a book of defined contribution plans, including 401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, and 403(b) plans. Must be able to work a hybrid schedule - 3 days a week from New Jersey office.

Job duties include:

• Analysis and reconciliation of plan sponsor census data

• Compliance testing including coverage and nondiscrimination tests, top heavy determination, and calculation of corrections

• Determination of employer contributions

• Reconciliation of plan assets and receivables

• Preparation of Form 5500 including schedules and attachments;
Summary Annual Report, and Form 8955-SSA

• Preparation of annual valuation report

• Other assignments as needed to ensure compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in qualified retirement plan administration

• QKA or other professional designations strongly preferred

• Experience with ASC valuation system strongly preferred

• Possess or be actively working towards professional designations offered by ASPPA or other retirement plan industry group

• Ability to clearly and accurately communicate complex plan-related issues to clients is essential
