Position Overview
Senior Actuarial Associate – Actuarial Valuation & Projections Team (ILI) – Prudential Financial Inc.
Work arrangement:
Hybrid (on‑site as required). The role is part of a 5‑member Actuarial Cashflow Projections Team, responsible for liability cash‑flow projections supporting AAT, portfolio reinvestment strategies, insurance risk monitoring, liquidity stress testing, and related deliverables.
- Prepare liability cash‑flow projections supporting AAT, sensitivity testing, portfolio management, insurance risk management, and liquidity stress testing; assess reasonableness of results.
- Create other deliverables and key inputs: reserve true‑ups, scenario files, in‑force data validations, post‑model adjustment tools.
- Support the annual assumption update process, primarily using AXIS and Polysystems.
- Document and test model changes and reaffirmations.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- 2+ years of actuarial experience.
- Strong technical skills in SQL.
- Basic experience in AXIS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Dedicated to completing work in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Associate’s Actuarial (ASA) qualification.
- Familiarity with result analysis tools such as Power
BI. - Experience working in a production environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Salary range: $96,200.00–$ (may vary by location, experience, skills).
