Position: Senior Actuarial Associate - ILI Valuation & Projections Team (Hybrid)

Position Overview

Senior Actuarial Associate – Actuarial Valuation & Projections Team (ILI) – Prudential Financial Inc.

Work arrangement:
Hybrid (on‑site as required). The role is part of a 5‑member Actuarial Cashflow Projections Team, responsible for liability cash‑flow projections supporting AAT, portfolio reinvestment strategies, insurance risk monitoring, liquidity stress testing, and related deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare liability cash‑flow projections supporting AAT, sensitivity testing, portfolio management, insurance risk management, and liquidity stress testing; assess reasonableness of results.
  • Create other deliverables and key inputs: reserve true‑ups, scenario files, in‑force data validations, post‑model adjustment tools.
  • Support the annual assumption update process, primarily using AXIS and Polysystems.
  • Document and test model changes and reaffirmations.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of actuarial experience.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL.
  • Basic experience in AXIS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Dedicated to completing work in a timely and accurate fashion.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Associate’s Actuarial (ASA) qualification.
  • Familiarity with result analysis tools such as Power

    BI.
  • Experience working in a production environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
