We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Senior Cost Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, hybrid position in the exciting field of engineering. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing all cost accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulations. Responsibilities

Oversee all cost accounting functions, including preparing and analyzing cost reports and identifying discrepancies.

Coordinate with various departments to compile and interpret important financial data.

Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Assist in the development and implementation of cost-saving measures and strategies.

Collaborate with the finance department to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.

Conduct audits and recommend any necessary actions based on findings.

Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Provide strategic guidance on all cost accounting matters to senior management.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.

Strong ERP system experience, with experience in Oracle being highly desirable.

Proficiency in IBM COGNOS TM1 preferred.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
