STAFF ACCOUNTANT

JOB SUMMARY:

A Staff Accountant is required at our Hudson County, New Jersey corporate office to oversee our company's financials, including month-end closings, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, journal entries, general ledger reviews, cash forecasting, and annual budgeting.

• Responsible for various day-to-day financial activities and procedures including cash flow, balance sheet, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger, which includes detailed account analysis and preparation of all journal entries
• Prepare annual budget
• Process Accounts Receivables billings
• Track miscellaneous cash transactions
• Post monthly accruals and journal entries
• Reconcile fixed assets, lease, and depreciation schedules
• Backup and support other departments such as Accounts Payable and Payroll
• Assist in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance Required
• Knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Understanding of financial controls, regulations, and processes
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hands‑on team player, organized, and deadline oriented
• Available to work overtime when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
