Accounting Manager

We are seeking a hands‑on Accounting Manager to lead the month‑end close process, oversee financial reporting, and support the day‑to‑day accounting operations of a growing organization. This individual will serve as a key business partner across Finance and Operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvement.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison for external auditors.
• Support internal controls, risk management, and accounting policy compliance.
• Oversee operational accounting activities, including AP, accruals, and cash management.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, HR, and Executive Leadership on financial analysis and special projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop members of the accounting team.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience managing month‑end close and external audits.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

Preferred

• Experience in retail, distribution, consumer products, manufacturing, or other multi‑location organizations.
• Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and system implementations.
