Senior Analyst - Liquid Credit

A boutique, founder-led hedge fund managing ~$450m across family office and co-mingled fund capital is looking to hire a mid-level Credit Analyst/Trader. This is a confidential search.

The firm runs a differentiated total return strategy in highly liquid public corporate credit – broadly syndicated loans and high yield bonds – and has built an exceptional track record: 20+% annualised over recent years on the hedge fund side, with its credit strategy consistently outperforming money markets.

This is a genuine path-to-PM role. You’ll work directly alongside a Portfolio Manager with 30+ years of experience, with a clear runway to running money yourself within roughly five years.

• 5–10 years of experience in corporate credit at a hedge fund or mutual fund running total return strategies – not buy-and-hold, not CLO
• Strong expertise in broadly syndicated loans (BSL) and high yield bonds
• Performing credit focus (BBB to BB) – no CCC, distressed, or private credit
• A trader’s mindset: someone who appreciates tactical trading and understands investor expectations
• AI-savvy and comfortable working with quantitative/technical colleagues
• Polished and presentable – comfortable in front of investors
