Position OverviewPrinston Pharma is seeking a
Vice President of Finance
to serve as a cornerstone of our leadership team. This high-impact role goes beyond traditional financial control, encompassing ownership of complex financial processes, driving digital transformation, and providing financial validation for business growth. The ideal candidate will translate operational complexity into clear financial insights, ensuring global manufacturing and sourcing operations areoptimizedfor both profitability and compliance.
- Own the end-to-end Gross-to-Net (GTN) process, including chargebacks, rebates, and returns, ensuring revenue integrity.
- Drive Product-Level P&L accountability,identify margin leakage, and implement cost improvement initiatives.
- Manage corporate liquidity and capital allocation to fund R&D pipelines and manufacturing expansion.
- Lead ERP system optimization to integrate manufacturing, procurement, and finance processes.
- Spearhead automation of financial workflows to reduce manual dependency and accelerate reporting.
- Leverage BI tools toprovidereal-time insights on market pricing trends and operational variances.
- Act as lead financial architect for M&A, product licensing, and asset acquisitions, building NPV/IRR models.
- Manage the financial workstream for business development, assessing “Make vs. Buy” scenarios for new products.
- Oversee financial onboarding of new assets to ensure rapid integration into reporting and compliance.
- Establish andmaintaininternal controls and corporate financial policies aligned with industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulatory requirements andmaintainauditreadiness.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA and/or MBA highly preferred.
- Experience:12+ years of progressive finance leadership, with at least 6 years in the
Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences
industry (Generics experience strongly preferred). - Industry Knowledge:Demonstrated practical understanding of pharma-specific accounting, including R&D costs, clinical accruals, and revenue recognition.
- Mindset:A strategic "builder" who is comfortable operating in a lean, high-growth environment.
- Location:Strong familiarity with the New Jersey business and regulatory environment.
