ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager of Accounts Payable is a global team-oriented role that is responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the global standardization of the Accounts Payable department. This person will work closely alongside other team members to drive change, processing efficiencies, and maintain global standardization across all legal entities.
RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Manager, Accounts Payable, you will:
- Monitor the global processing of a high volume of AP invoices and expense reports by Amazon Shared Services, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Manage ad hoc projects and create ad hoc reports as needed.
- Drive processing efficiencies, including managing payment runs and working with vendors regarding vendor set up or banking issues.
- Manage corporate card programs, monthly reporting, account reconciliations, accruals, and calculating and correctly recording taxes.
- Manage multiple AP mailboxes to ensure timely response and resolution regarding payment inquiries, processing issues, and other requests.
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
- Experience with Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
