Senior Analyst, Project Oversight & Compliance assists in facilitating the Capital Programs project oversight and compliance program to ensure projects satisfy all external and internal oversight requirements.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Assists the capital compliance division to maintain its oversight and compliance program to ensure Capital Programs projects meet all internal and external oversight requirements.
  • Analyzes and tracks documentation and information in response to internal and external oversight and other agencies relating to Capital Programs projects.
  • Assists with the implementation of internal or external findings or recommendations resulting from audits or reviews.
  • Assembles, tracks, and compiles documentation and information in response to internal and external oversight entities.
  • Coordinates, attends, and participates in site inspections and field reviews conducted by internal and external oversight entities, including but not limited to, auditors and federal and state agencies, relating to NJ TRANSIT capital projects.
  • Assists with the updating of Capital Programs internal policies and procedures as directed.
  • Assists in monitoring, and as necessary, coordinating compliance activities to identify trends.
  • Prepares clear, concise, accurate, and timely communications, as needed.
  • Performs special projects and other related duties as required.
Education, Experience And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture, Construction/Project Management, Auditing, Accounting, Pre-Law, Business/Public Administration or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years of progressive public administration experience or financial or programmatic compliance experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills required.
  • Strong analytic ability and ability to manage multiple projects with varied deadlines is required.
Knowledge And Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills required. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel, is required.
  • Other desired skills:
    Skilled in managing multiple priorities and making timely decisions. Ability to work independently and make decisions and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
