Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented professional to support clients in meeting quarterly and annual state reporting requirements related to Workers’ Compensation Qualified Self‑Insurance and compliance with monopolistic fund regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, proactive follow‑up, and the ability to manage multi‑state reporting schedules. Prior experience handling similar compliance reporting across multiple states is highly valued.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and adhere to reporting schedules for multiple clients, entities, and state requirements.
  • Collect necessary data including payroll, class codes, hours worked, loss information, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, TPAs, and other stakeholders to ensure timely submission of required information.
  • Follow up consistently using tight timelines to meet strict state reporting deadlines.
  • Review activity status and input accurate data into various state web portals.
  • Guide clients through certification and submission processes within state portals.
  • Advise clients on payment requirements related to compliance filings.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all activities, including document requests, actuarial reports, and payment confirmations.
  • Assist clients in adding new entities to state programs when required.
  • Review and monitor surety bonds or other security requirements for each state.
  • Coordinate updates to financial security levels and provide supporting documentation such as actuarial reports to state authorities.
Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience handling Workers’ Compensation reporting, self‑insurance compliance, or similar regulatory processes.
  • Experience managing multi‑state requirements and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in working with web-based reporting systems and portals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with actuarial reports and financial security requirements.
  • Familiarity with monopolistic state fund regulations.
  • Background in insurance, risk management, or compliance-related roles.
