Senior Fund Accountant @ Real Estate PE Firm

Coda Search is partnering with a rapidly expanding real estate private equity firm with offices located in Jersey City. The team is seeking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to support fund-level analysis, debt and loan covenant reporting, and performance analytics across a diversified real estate portfolio. This role partners with asset management and finance, with significant exposure to senior leadership.

• Assist with preparing the monthly financial reporting package
• Oversee and manage GL activity and perform variance analysis
• Perform fund-level financial analysis across multiple real estate funds, including cash flow modeling and variance analysis
• Prepare and maintain loan covenant reporting, including compliance tracking and lender analysis
• Develop and analyze portfolio and asset-level KPIs
• Support quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes at the fund and asset level
• Partner with Asset Management and Accounting to analyze operating performance and identify trends, risks, and value-creation opportunities
• Assist with investor and management reporting, including dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and presentation materials

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in real estate private equity, real estate, asset management, or investment management
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ARGUS, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
