Position Overview

At OnePoint BFG Wealth Partners, the Sr. Financial Advisor/Sr. Planner partners directly with CEO & Managing Partner Andy Schwartz, CFP®, and his core team
. In this high-impact role, you will drive the strategic delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions for the firm’s premier high-net-worth client base. This position moves beyond traditional support; you will serve as a co-advisor, managing elite client relationships, orchestrating sophisticated financial planning strategies, and collaborating side-by-side with firm leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Advisory Partnership
    :
    Collaborate directly with CEO Andy Schwartz to co-advise, retain, and deepen relationships with the firm's most complex high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Lead Client Relationships
    :
    Serve as a primary advisor and strategic point of contact for premier clients, actively leading client and prospective client meetings.
  • Advanced Plan Design
    :
    Construct, present, and implement complex financial, estate, tax, and retirement strategies using advanced financial planning software.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Coordination
    :
    Spearhead strategy sessions with internal and external CPAs, estate attorneys, and insurance professionals to ensure seamless, comprehensive client solutions.
  • Team Workflow Mastery
    :
    Serve as a technical planning anchor for the team, optimizing case preparation, ensuring data integrity, and streamlining the advanced planning workflow.
  • Portfolio Strategy
    :
    Translate complex client investment objectives into actionable, long-term asset allocation and wealth-preservation strategies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    :
    Ensure all planning deliverables and client communications strictly adhere to regulatory frameworks and internal risk management practices.
Qualifications
  • Experience
    :
    Minimum of 10+ years of comprehensive financial planning and wealth management experience, preferably within an RIA or independent wealth management environment.
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business).
  • Designations
    : Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation is strictly required.
  • Technical Expertise
    :
    Deep, mastery-level knowledge of advanced financial planning topics, tax mitigation, estate structuring, and corporate benefits.
  • Software Proficiency
    :
    Expert-level command of industry-standard financial planning platforms (e.g., eMoney, Right Capital, or Money Guide Pro ) and CRM systems.
  • Soft Skills
    :
    Elite presentation and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building deep trust with high-income individuals and multi-generational families.
Licenses/Certifications
  • Required
    :
    Series 65 or Series 66 (or Series 7 combined with appropriate state registration).
  • Preferred
    :
    Active Life & Health Insurance license (or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days).
