This position is part of PGIM Real Estate's private credit platform, focused on complex structured credit transactions secured by collateral pools of real assets.

PGIM Real Estate manages over $200 billion in gross assets and is one of the largest real estate investment managers globally. The Asset Based Finance team invests across the capital structure in private credit transactions with real estate collateral, operating on a hybrid schedule with three days in the Newark, NJ office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed credit analysis of borrowers, collateral pools, transaction structures, and counter parties
- Build comprehensive financial models with stress scenario analysis to evaluate investment returns under various market conditions
- Prepare underwriting materials, term sheets, and investment committee presentations
- Review and negotiate complex legal transaction documentation including loan agreements and credit facilities
- Monitor existing portfolio investments and prepare portfolio reporting
- Collaborate across investment, legal, and portfolio management teams on deal execution and portfolio oversight
- Contribute to deal sourcing and due diligence on new opportunities

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field- 4+ years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, structured products, or investment banking
- Strong credit underwriting capabilities and experience evaluating complex deal structures
- Financial modeling proficiency in Excel; experience with structured finance models preferred- MBA or CFA progress is advantageous
- Excellent communication abilities and capacity to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
