A growing organization is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A & Strategic Finance to lead financial planning and analysis efforts while partnering with executive leadership to drive strategic business decisions. This highly visible role combines traditional FP&A responsibilities with strategic finance, operational support, and financial modeling to improve business performance and support long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts across multiple business units.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and business analysis.
- Analyze monthly financial results, identify key trends and variances, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Create dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility into financial and operational performance.
- Prepare financial presentations and reporting materials for executive leadership.
- Evaluate capital investments and strategic initiatives through financial modeling and return analysis (including NPV, IRR, and payback).
- Partner with operational leaders to understand business drivers, improve project profitability, and support data-driven decision making.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational and financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, reporting, and financial systems.
- Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and other financial analyses as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, consulting, or investment banking.
- Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
