The Opportunity:The Loan Origination Analyst will play a crucial operational and administrative support role for our Account Executives. This is a detail-oriented, proactive position focused on ensuring a seamless and prompt loan processing experience for our clients. Key responsibilities include managing all required documentation, coordinating internal and external communications, and supporting the overall backend workflow. This position is strictly non‑sales, with no direct involvement in client origination.
What you will do:- Organize, track, and maintain comprehensive loan files from application through closing, supporting Loan Officers throughout the process
- Collect, review, and upload necessary documentation into internal systems, ensuring compliance and file completeness
- Perform data entry, status updates, and conduct loan file audits within CRM and Loan Origination System (LOS) platforms
- Prepare detailed summaries and reports to facilitate borrower updates and internal team coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure smooth progression of the loan lifecycle
- Monitor and manage team email communications, follow‑up tasks, and operational checklists efficiently
- Stay current on company policies, underwriting guidelines, and all required loan documentation standards
- Assist with documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all repeatable loan support functions
- Support and contribute to process improvement initiatives across the department
- Step in to support additional responsibilities as business needs evolve
- Salary Range: $40,000 + variable cash compensation component
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years of professional experience in loan processing, financial services, or general administrative operations
- Demonstrated proficiency with productivity tools, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in frequent professional phone and email correspondence
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, characterized by a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution
- A self‑motivated individual capable of working independently while simultaneously contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment
- 5 years of professional experience in administrative operations, financial services, or loan processing
- Experience in mortgage lending and/or real estate
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- A demonstrated track record of winning; we never stop at "just enough"
