Actuaries at Prudential partner with groups such as marketing, sales, underwriting, and investments to create new insurance, annuity retirement, and investment products. In addition to roles in traditional actuarial areas, our actuaries also work in finance, investment, asset management, and marketing. This presents a unique opportunity for our actuaries to move around the organization and develop their careers with a variety of different teams.

Internship

Summary :

Prudential is seeking motivated and goal-orientated interns to join our team. Our summer internship program spans approximately 10 weeks, offering you a valuable opportunity to work on impactful projects where you can demonstrate your skills and talents. You'll be part of a dynamic environment that encourages learning, growth, and networking. This internship is more than just a summer experience; it's your first step towards a potential long-term career with Prudential. We offer opportunities to return as an intern or transition into a full-time role upon successful completion of the program.

Timeline:

Program Dates: Monday, June 7th , 2027 - Friday, August 13 th , 2027

Final date to receive applications: Monday, September 28th , 2026 ( We review applications on a rolling basis and reserve the right to close earlier based on volume or role availability. )

What you'll need:
  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's program graduating between December 2027 and May 2029
  • Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration
It'd be a plus if you had:
  • Preferred majors include Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other relevant math-focused major
  • Preferred 3.2 GPA and above
  • Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Intellectually curious and open to change
  • Knowledge of modeling packages, programming languages, and spreadsheet/database software preferred
  • Passage of one or more Society of Actuaries exams preferred

The salary range for this role is ( $33.00 to $38.00 ) . Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
