Risk Analysis Specialist II – Counterparty Credit Risk Reporting

• Support data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses
• Review and analyze portfolio trends
• Support development of complex databases or queries to extract data
• Support production of data for internal and external reporting needs
• Work with Technology to implement changes supporting ongoing data needs
• Develop and execute reporting enabling Risk and business partners to identify and manage risk
• Analyze portfolio trends, loss trends and portfolio dynamics
• Provide analytical support for product strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business
• Participate in developing database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytical techniques
• Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
• Support cross-functional efforts to remediate data quality issues
• Monitor control outputs and investigate control-check alerts
• Develop, execute and maintain counter party credit risk reporting and dashboards
• Produce and maintain CCR reports and dashboards, including risk appetite, portfolio and IICE reporting
• Collaborate with reporting stakeholders and technology partners on changes and enhancements
• Provide data and analysis for ad-hoc business requests
• Work with a high degree of autonomy

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in a reporting role
• Experienced using SQL (Oracle Exadata), particularly extracting data with complex queries
• Proficient using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Tableau
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis and data connections
• Advanced analytical skills, including navigating systems, accessing data, reconciling numbers from different sources, identifying discrepancies and understanding data-change drivers
• Knowledge of counter party credit risk and traded products
• Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and tailor analysis to the audience
• Knowledge of Bank of America systems:
  Credit Studio, Zinc, Sparck and CRP
• Knowledge of financial products beyond CCR and traded products
• Experience with Agile development processes and collaborating with technology partners
• Confidence with data management and governance, including BCBS 239
• 1st shift (United States of America)
• Ability to work 40 hours per week

Demonstrates expertise in data analysis, reporting, and risk management, with proficiency in SQL and advanced analytical techniques. Capable of developing and maintaining complex databases and dashboards to support credit risk reporting and business initiatives.
