Deputy Municipal Clerk – Mantoloking Borough.Full-time The ideal candidate will possess a Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) Certificate and Certified Municipal Registrar (CMR) Designation. A Notary Public designation is desirable, but not required. Candidates who do not currently hold these certifications must be willing to complete the certification requirements. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
The position requires strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, as well as the ability to assist with municipal website updates as needed. Under the direction of the Municipal Clerk, the Deputy Municipal Clerk will assist with all statutory responsibilities of the Clerk's Office, including, but not limited to, processing OPRA requests; preparing meeting agendas, resolutions, ordinances, and minutes;
coordinating legal advertisements and public notices; maintaining official records and records management systems; attending Council meetings; processing incoming and outgoing mail; performing registrar duties; providing exceptional customer service to residents and the public; and performing other duties as assigned. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The anticipated salary range is between $50,000 to $70,000 annually.
