Client Overview:Our client, a leading beauty brand, is seeking a Beauty Brand Ambassador (Makeup Artist) to represent the brand and engage with customers in a retail environment.
Salary/Hourly Rate:$25/hr – $27/hr
Position Overview:Our client is seeking an experienced Beauty Brand Ambassador (Makeup Artist) for a seasonal opportunity with potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate has strong makeup knowledge, retail sales experience, and excellent customer service skills. This role requires availability Thursday–Saturday from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm and the ability to commute to at least 4 of the 5 assigned New Jersey locations.
Responsibilitiesof the Beauty Brand Ambassador (Makeup Artist):
- Represent the beauty brand in a retail environment.
- Engage with customers and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of makeup and beauty products.
- Drive sales and support sales goals.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive customer experience.
- Assist customers with product selection and makeup-related questions.
- Maintain a professional and engaging brand presence.
- Previous makeup or beauty experience required.
- Strong knowledge of makeup application and beauty products.
- Retail sales and customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Must be available Thursday to Saturday, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- Must be available all three days.
- Must be able to reliably commute to at least 4 of the following 5 New Jersey locations:
- 1640 US Route 22, Watchung, NJ 07069.
- 1255 Raritan Road, Clark, NJ 07066.
- 175 Passaic Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032.
- 1 American Dream Way, East Rutherford, NJ 07073.
- 45 West Spring Valley Avenue, Maywood, NJ 07607.
- High-volume retail sales experience.
- Beauty, cosmetics, or specialty retail experience.
- Experience working toward sales goals or KPIs.
- Professional makeup artistry experience.
- No specific degree is required.
- Makeup artistry or beauty-related training/certification is a plus.
- Provided with an offer letter, including a health insurance package, PTO, and access to a 401(K).
