General Description

We are seeking a committed and motivated Behavioral Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will work closely with program staff and BCBAs to implement effective behavior-management intervention techniques while supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. You will play a key part in delivering hands-on behavioral services, collecting meaningful data, and helping ensure that each member receives consistent, high-quality support aligned with their Individualized Support Plans.

Responsibilities
  • Develop an effective working relationship with CAU staff
  • Thoroughly document all interactions with members
  • Maintain appropriate staff/member interactions
  • Follow treatment/teaching plans as per BCBA
  • Collect behavior data as required
  • Implement prescribed behavior support plans
  • Complete all graphing as designated by BCBA supervisor
  • Participate in supervision meetings as scheduled
  • Communicate treatment information to BCBA in a timely manner
  • Maintain a good professional relationship with guardians and members
Requirements

BA/BS in Human Services Field. Minimum two years experience working with people with developmental disabilities or at-risk adolescents in program planning and/or behavior management. Pursuing MA in related field towards BCBA.
