Rutgers University, School of Health Professions (SHP) invites applications for a full-time, 12‑month faculty position in the Department of Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences (CLMIS), Clinical Laboratory Sciences Division (CLS). The position is available as early as January 2025. The new faculty will join the Department and SHP as we continue to expand and build upon our success in the continuum of Clinical Laboratory Science education at the graduate level, offering a Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (MS‑CLS) and a Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Science (DCLS) program.
Interprofessional education opportunities are fostered within the Department of CLMIS and SHP. Responsibilities include course development and instruction in online graduate program courses in the areas of molecular diagnostics, clinical chemistry, immunology, and hemostasis. The candidate will be expected to advise graduate students, pursue scholarly activities, and perform service to the university, school, and professional community.

RBHS has recently launched Rutgers Health, a patient-centered, collaborative and interprofessional healthcare provider organization offering statewide services. SHP is the largest school of health professions in the nation with seven core departments offering Baccalaureate to Doctoral level programs as well as numerous post‑professional certificates. The Department of Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences (CLMIS) is a nationally recognized leader in educational programming and the CLS division offers the first professional Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Science (DCLS) program in the nation, an MS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences with tracks in Medical Laboratory Science and Cytopathology, and an undergraduate BS level program in Medical Laboratory Science.
