Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Business Consultant for the department of Medicine at the New Jersey Medical School.

• Consults with client to define need or problem, conducts studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyzes data to advise on or recommend solution by performing the following duties.
• Among the key duties of this position are the following:

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in related field.
• At least 2 years relevant experience with progressively more responsibility.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent writing skills, including grant writing.

• Physical Demands:
  Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing. No special vision requirements. Lifting up to 25lbs.
• Work Environment:
  Office environment and remote. Moderate noise.

Salary Details

• Salary Details $50/hour
• Minimum Salary 15.92
• Mid Range Salary 50.00
• Maximum Salary 150.00

The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. We also take into consideration market benchmarks, if and when appropriate, and internal equity to ensure fair compensation relative to the university’s broader compensation structure.
