Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Associate III for the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the New Jersey Medical School. This role involves evaluating the effects of anti–PD‑1 antibody therapy on female reproductive function using a murine model. Responsibilities include assessing ovarian function through histological analysis, monitoring estrous cyclicity, and characterizing immune cell distribution within the ovary across stages of follicular development.
The work also includes investigating the impact of anti‑PD‑1 treatment on ovarian cell survival and apoptotic pathways to better understand therapy‑related reproductive outcomes.
- As directed, performs various research and clinical technical operations relative to ongoing investigatory activities of a laboratory; may assist in conducting specialized research for a particular phase of a project.
- Participates in the development of performance standards, selection of methodology and instrumentation and coordination of the analytical, biochemical, physiological and instrumentation functions with the clinical and research areas to ensure conformance with the goals and objectives of the department.
- Under supervision, assists in the conducting of a continuous program of research and development regarding the analytical and instrumentation functions of the laboratory.
- Participates in the evaluation of the existing procedures, suggests revisions where necessary and proposes new procedures where required.
- As required, assists in the implementation of the programs and projects in special areas of interest to the department.

Salary Details- Minimum Salary: 51,988.00
- Mid‑Range Salary: 61,929.00
- Maximum Salary: 72,984.00
