Salary Details:
Minimum Academic Base of $144,413 commensurate with faculty rank. The final offer may be adjusted based on qualifications, experience, and availability of department or grant funds.

Posting Summary

The Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) seeks a qualified candidate at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for a full‑time academic position in nephrology to support the growth of renal disease programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care on campus.
  • Participate in the education of medical students and residents.
  • Engage in research related to nephrology.
  • Spend time in community dialysis centers to ensure continuity of care for complex patient populations.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.
