Location: Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, 201 LYONS AVENUE, NEWARK, NJ

Status: Full‑Time
Shift: Evening
Pay Range: $20.99 - $26.32 per hour
Job OverviewAs a Telemetry Technician, you will Provides physicians and nurses with data for use in the diagnosis and the planning of interventions related to cardiac conditions
Pay TransparencyThe above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
QualificationsRequired:
- High School Graduate
- Completion of dysrhythmia course
- Enrolled in an Accredited Nursing program helpful
- 12 Lead ECG competency
- Previous clinical/patient care experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Scheduling Requirements- Evenings
- Full‑time
- Conducts cardiac monitoring on adolescent to geriatric patients, including application of monitors, rhythm interpretation, and performance of 12 lead EKG
- Participates in hospital quality improvement activities
- Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to determine each patient's age-specific needs and provide age specific treatment
