Pay TransparencyThe above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job OverviewFacilitation of activity groups on inpatient program, maintains unit safety and facilitates daily activity of the patients, assists patients in activities of daily living, conducts rounds and records accurate and timely clinical documentation, assists in code responses as per policy and in accordance with training, assists in securing patient personal belongings.
Qualifications- Required:
Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Sociology or related field preferred or a bachelors degree with one year prior relevant work experience interacting with patients and community.
- Preferred: A minimum of one year of experience, training, or education in the field of treatment is preferred.
- Current BLS certification or successful completion of required training to attain certification within three months of start date.

- In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN to provide care for the patients on the unit.
- Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking vital signs, EKG, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i.e., bathing, mouth care, and skin care.
- In addition to CCT responsibilities, the Mental Health Associate MHA will provide emotional support to the behavioral patients.
