Job Title: Supervisor

Pay Range: $93,150.00 - $ per year (New Jersey)

Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills and professional experience.

• Day-to-day operational oversight of the Blood Bank / Transfusion Service, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely provision of blood and blood components.
• Technical leadership, staff supervision, regulatory compliance oversight, and quality assurance in accordance with AABB, CAP, CLIA, FDA, and hospital policies.
• Supervise duties related to record documentation.
• Consult with Medical Director and Administrative Director on regulatory compliance updates.
• Participate in the administrative and budgetary operations of the section.

• Bachelor of Science or Medical Technology degree.
• ASCP or NCA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Must meet the requirements for qualification of laboratory supervisor as stated by the State of New Jersey and the CAP accreditation guidelines.
• Must work weekends and holidays as a general supervisor.
