Introduction to the RoleThe Night Auditors’ responsibilities are to check front office accounting records for accuracy and, daily, summarize and compile information for the resort’s financial records. They track room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front‑office operating statistics.

- Outstanding customer service skills and professionalism
- Understands the various tasks that go into running a hotel in the overnight hours
- Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts
- Audit and balance reports from the day shifts
- Process guest charges vouchers and credit card vouchers
- Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift
- Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts
- Check that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments
- Verify that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by documentary evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated into the PMS system
- Verify all account postings and balances
- Verify that room rates are correct and post those rates to guest accounts
- Monitor the current status of coupons, discounts, and other promotional programs
- Act as a front‑desk agent, especially in terms of check‑in and check‑out procedures
- Track room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front‑office statistics
- Understand and perform check‑in and check‑out procedures
- Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well‑manicured, and guest‑ready at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide regular and reliable attendance
You will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Assistant General Manager.
What You Bring- High school diploma/GED required
- 2+ years’ experience in customer service or hospitality
- Excellent communication and math skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; use office equipment including, but not limited to, a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and multi‑line telephone; and reach with hands and arms, and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies to 20 pounds.
