Mandatory: WINS system Experience – WINS is a legacy AS400 system of records for P&C commercial Policy administration.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the end-to-end process of business opportunity submissions from brokers, handling registration, assignment to underwriters, quote requests, policy issuance, and renewals, specifically within the WINS system environment.

• Support applications within the Property & Causality insurance domain, especially in commercial lines such as Workers’ Compensation, Auto, GL, Property, and packaged policies.
• Utilize WINS system knowledge to support policy administration processes.
• Engage with underwriting and policy administration applications, providing functional expertise.
• Assist in legacy modernization efforts, including sunset of legacy applications.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners, using business language.
• Manage and mentor regional teams, fostering development of technical and non-technical skills.
• Ensure excellent customer service, patience in challenging situations, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee Application Support team members and manage relationships with service providers.
• Adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Motivate and inspire staff, work independently, and demonstrate reliability.
