Prismarq LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Open Text xECM Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise content management (ECM) solutions using Open Text Extended ECM (xECM) for various business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of content management principles, strong integration capabilities with enterprise systems, and the ability to provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Open Text xECM solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and other IT teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into robust technical designs and blueprints.
  • Design and implement integrations between Open Text xECM and other enterprise systems, particularly SAP (e.g., S/4

    HANA, ERP, Success Factors) using technologies like SAP Archive Link, Open Text Business Work spaces, and custom connectors.
  • Architect and configure Open Text Content Server components, including content repositories, workflow engines, Smart UI customizations, and metadata management.
  • Develop and optimize content lifecycle workflows, document management processes, version control, and records management within the xECM platform, adhering to compliance and governance policies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on Open Text products such as Content Server, Archive Center, Open Text Directory Services (OTDS), Enterprise Scan, Document Pipeline, and other relevant modules.
  • Oversee data migration strategies and execution to ensure seamless transition of content into the xECM environment.
  • Define and implement security models, role-based access controls, and integrate with enterprise identity providers for single sign-on.
  • Stay current with Open Text product roadmaps, industry best practices, and emerging technologies (e.g., cloud deployments on Azure/AWS, containerization, AI/ML in content management).
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to development and support teams.
  • Conduct system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, solution presentations, and client discussions as a subject matter expert when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), with at least 5+ years focused on Open Text xECM.
  • Proven expertise in architecting and implementing Open Text Content Server and Extended ECM solutions.
  • Strong experience with Open Text xECM integrations, especially with SAP (ECC, S/4

    HANA), including SAP Archive Link, Business Work spaces, and metadata mapping.
  • Proficiency in Open Text workflow design, Live Reports, and Web Reports.
  • Hands-on experience with customization using OScript, Java, JavaScript, .NET, or ABAP.
  • Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Postgre

    SQL).
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and other integration technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud deployment strategies (Azure, AWS) for Open Text solutions is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead projects, manage priorities, and work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
  • Open Text certifications (e.g., Open Text Content Server Administrator, Extended ECM Specialist, Extended ECM for SAP Solutions Certified) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other Open Text products such as Open Text VIM (Vendor Invoice Management), Capture, Info Archive, or Documentum.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Experience with Dev Sec Ops  practices and CI/CD pipelines for ECM solutions.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
